  • Meet our Clinic Director, Dr. Kayla Sample!
    Dr. Sample

Kayla grew up in San Diego, California where she volunteered with rescue organizations and served as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs of America.  Kayla received her degree in Animal Science at the University of California Davis and completed veterinary school at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. During her schooling, Kayla worked extensively with several community outreach programs and shelters.  Community medicine is a passion of Kayla’s, and to that end, she is currently improving her Spanish language skills in hopes of removing any barriers clients may face when bringing their pets in for care.  She is a fear free certified professional and works to implement low stress handling techniques with all her patients.

Kayla recently completed a small animal community medicine internship at Tufts at Tech, where her technical skills, and teaching skills were refined.  Her talent and respect for community medicine is evident in her work every day, and we could not be more thrilled she will lead the care team at Monty Tech Veterinary Clinic!

  • Meet Program Instructor, Dr. Christine Schlupf!

Dr. Schlupf is in her third year here at Monty Tech, and has helped shape the Veterinary Science program, writing curriculum, developing partnerships with area practitioners, and recruiting students into the exciting field of veterinary care.  Her breadth of knowledge is unparalleled, having graduated from Ontario Veterinary College, practicing in Wantagh, NY, and eventually opening her own animal hospital.  Her work with the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, doing shelter and low-income community medicine and surgery, led to a passion for community care, which is why the Monty Tech Veterinary Clinic is such a perfect fit for Dr. Schlupf!

Her students enjoy her patient and engaging approach, and we are delighted to have her on our team!
