The Monty Tech Foundation is a private foundation and charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of vocational-technical education programs in North Central Massachusetts. The Foundation Fund was established more than fourty years ago, to promote and support programs, services and educational activities that benefit the students, faculty and staff of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School.
In 2023, the Monty Tech Foundation established a Food & Hygiene Pantry, lovingly named The Nook by our students, that has become a greatly appreciated asset to our school community. Students in need are invited to visit The Nook at any time, and are able to shop for items needed, whether they are food, personal hygiene or school supplies. This small but impactful program has made a tremendous difference, and has quickly become one of the Foundation's greatest points of pride.
The Foundation Fund also provides scholarships to students pursuing post-secondary education at accredited 2- and 4- year colleges - and tool and equipment grants for students entering the workforce after graduation. So often scholarship programs support only those students who choose a college pathway - but the Monty Tech Foundation recognizes the value of a career pathway, and aims to support students pursuing their career goals with funding for tools and equipment to ensure they enter the workforce prepared for success!
The Monty Tech Foundation Board of Directors is comprised of area business, finance, healthcare and education leaders, with a vested interest in sustaining quality vocational-technical education programs at Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School. The Monty Tech Foundation is proud to partner with the Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts, to ensure each and every donation made to the Monty Tech Foundation is a tax deductible gift to the school.
